I have worked there for 3 years now, about 2 years as a designer, and am taking a couple months off currently just as a break. There were 4 swimming pool designers at first when I started, and the one closest to my age is 33, and has been doing this for 8 years with college education as well. Ever since I joined the team however, they have fired two of the original 4, cause I can do them so much faster than everyone else. The way I got this job was by pure luck...I injured my ankle at a job site, and couldn't work. After hearing about how good of an artist I was, they had me start tracing pools to make changes to. After they saw one, they loved it and started me as a full time designer, and eventually, now I am a head salesman..I'm good at talking as well as selling, and the rest is history. Now I have a major to shoot for at A&M college, and my life is basically set as long as all goes as well as it has. I am very happy I broke my ankle in march of 2002 :)Answer your question? Now, can we please stop the parents money bullshit. Thanks for wondering :)
